The group offers a mixed programme of presentations from our own members and talks by guest speakers, plus occasional field trips.

When: Monthly on 3rd Tuesday of the month

Time: Doors open 10.15  (with the Guest Speaker starting around 10.30 and lasting about an hour)

Please note that to accommodate those coming by bus the start time has been changed to 10.30. The session will last about an hour.

Doors will open at the Labour Club at 10.15am.

Background

Over the years we have had a wide range of topics from 17th century everyday life (witchcraft/medicine/beliefs!) to local industries and prominent local people. We have also arranged guided historical walks around Yeovil and villages, and visits to local museums.
