Maggi has received a flyer from Dunwood travel, the company we are going to the Isle of Wight with in May, advertising a 5day (4 night) half board break at the Derwent Hotel in Torquay. This hotel is part of TLH Leisure Resort. They are offering Mon 22nd - Fri 26th February 2027 for £299 pp with a number of single rooms available.
This is the week after the school half term. If the weather next year is anything like we've been having we'll all deserve a break.
The price includes return coach travel and 2 excursions.
Maggi has stayed at this hotel in the past and it is used by many coach companies including Bakers Dolphin.
It seems such a good price that she wanted to let you know about it.
If anyone is interested please let Maggi know and if there are sufficient numbers she will see if she can make a provisional booking and get back to you.

Please note that preference is given to u3a members for single rooms but if still available by 26th March will be opened up to family/friends of members.
